Job summary

Behavioral Health Services California is seeking a clinic support staff member to work under the Clinic Manager or Director of Family Health Services. You will assist physicians, take vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and help with vaccines and basic lab duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving on BHS business.
• Ability to perform essential clinical support tasks under supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in certain programs.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and assist with exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and assist to prepare patients for doctors’ examinations.
• Administer vaccines/immunizations and perform related duties.
• Lab duties including blood draw, specimen processing, and urine tests.
• Manage appointments, calls, and medical records in the EMR system.
• Order supplies, stock rooms, and coordinate with staff on medical records.
