McCall Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide medical support and a welcoming environment. You will support the Medical Director, assist during visits, monitor health, and help manage daily clinic operations to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include vitals, patient preparation, documentation, and coordinating with nursing and pharmacy teams. Qualifications include Medical Assistant Certification and phlebotomy experience.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant Certification and two years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience with EMR/EHR software, patient registration, documentation, and filing. Phlebotomy experience required.

Aufgaben

• Collect medical histories of patients.
• Conduct vital signs checks and maintain documentation.
• Assist and participate in patient visits.
• Provide first aid, wound care, and dressing changes.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Instruct patients about medications and diets.
• Coordinate medical treatment with specialty providers.
• Coordinate services with nursing and pharmacies.
• Meet regularly with the Medical Director.
• Triage clinic communications.
• Schedule patient follow-up appointments.
• Update patient demographics in the EHR.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients.
• Assist the medical director with daily operations.
• Participate in staff meetings to enhance effectiveness.
• Participate in program planning and implementation.
• Attend trainings on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
