Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks Medical Assistants at MA I–III levels for multiple Houston-area locations. Under supervision of licensed clinicians, you will support patient care in a dynamic, multi-specialty setting with opportunities for advancement.

Required: high school diploma or GED, MA program graduate or 1 year related experience, BLS, medical terminology, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1 year of directly related experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN.
• Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks (MA II/III as applicable).
