Job summary

Airlift Northwest is seeking a Medical Airlift Communications Supervisor to lead the communications staff in coordinating air/ground critical care transport. You will assist with budgeting, scheduling, and policy maintenance to ensure high-quality patient care and compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience) and healthcare supervisory experience, with shifts and 100% FTE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations, or related field; three years of management or supervision in a health care setting.
• In lieu of a degree, six years of management or supervision in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff of medical airlift communications specialists.
• Assist the Manager with budgets (staffing, equipment and training needs), scheduling and payroll.
• Assist in policies and procedures for the Communications Center aligned with ALNW protocols.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of patient registrations, hospital admissions, and discharges; manage calls.
• Investigate complaints and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Support HIPAA, billing/reimbursement, and regulatory compliance training and QA.
