Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in Medicaid/CHIP program subject matter obtained through experience and/or education.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state laws governing healthcare programs.
• Ability to develop and implement new principles and policies and discern far-reaching implications.
• Ability to present to internal and external customers, government officials, and stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare monthly finance and accounting reports and manage program budgets.
• At least 9+ years of experience applying outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage Medicaid and CHIP state plans, alternative benefit plans, and waiver amendment processes.
• Consult with subject matter experts and create policy briefs on federal guidance.
• Complete public records requests and monitor legislative initiatives.
• Lead a team if needed and guide program delivery.
