Qualifications
- Nine or more years of experience as a business analyst translating requirements between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel advanced features such as macros or relational database software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a FHIR-focused technical business analyst supporting Medicaid interoperability and data exchange solutions.
- Translate state Medicaid requirements, CMS mandates, and client policies into FHIR-aligned technical requirements.
- Support architecture decisions related to FHIR-based integration patterns (APIs, canonical data models, transformations).
- Collaborate with solution architects to ensure scalable, reusable designs aligned with Gainwell standards.
- Produce clear technical artifacts: FHIR mappings, API use cases, sequence diagrams, and validation rules.
