Job summary

FINRA’s Senior Case Coordinator in Dispute Resolution Mediation supports all phases of mediation, including soliciting parties, mediator selection, scheduling, and case disposition. The role requires strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with five years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

The position is hybrid, involves some travel, and emphasizes collaboration with staff and mediators to uphold FINRA’s mission of investor protection and market

Qualifications

• High School diploma and five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise using a desktop computer with the full suite of electronic office applications and other office equipment.
• Excellent organizational ability, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communications skills.
• Preferably have experience and is skilled in providing quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, organizes, and keeps all docketed mediation cases current and inputs case notes/date into the processing system.
• Generates case documents such as mediator lists and Mediation Submission Agreements; coordinates scheduling with mediators, parties, and staff.
• Provides excellent customer service; handles routine questions and processes case correspondence.
• Processes mediation financial forms and submissions; completes 2nd layer financial review as needed.
• Provides administrative support for special projects and initiatives.
• Collaborates with staff in person and virtually to support FINRA’s mission.
• Trains and guides staff and mediators on mediation issues of varying complexity.
