Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Media Relations Senior Manager to lead earned and owned media for the Perlmutter Cancer Center and other clinical teams. You will develop strategic plans, manage external agencies, and partner with clinical leadership to tell patient care and research stories across traditional and digital channels.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Media Relations, you will oversee media outreach, craft messages, monitor coverage, and guide communications for conferences like ASCO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of public and media relations experience, including proactive pitching.
• Excellent writer, editor, and verbal communicator with strong medical writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop media materials and distribution for news media and NYU Langone Health's site.
• Maintain relationships with news media and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Oversee external agencies for PCC and other clinical areas; measure outcomes and impact.
