Job summary

Skydance is seeking a Media Operations Senior Manager in Los Angeles to own end-to-end media infrastructure and workflow decisions for high-volume, multi-brand production. You’ll lead access control, storage strategy, and live/near-live workflows while collaborating with editors, engineers, and vendors across Paramount's network ecosystem.

Based in LA, you’ll oversee a team of media coordinators, coordinate with global production teams, and help enforce archival policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in media management or post-production operations.
• Experience managing storage systems and access provisioning in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of editorial workflows and media formats/codecs; proficient with Avid, Premiere, Resolve.
• Experience with cloud storage platforms and enterprise file transfer tools.
• Ability to make operational decisions balancing client needs with team capacity.
• Strong cross-functional communication across brands and productions.
• Willingness to travel and support on-site production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own storage and archive strategy for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Audit and secure access to media environments; determine restricted vs open access.
• Set up and support live/near-live production and streaming workflows and troubleshoot encoding.
• Coordinate media transfer and delivery workflows with internal teams and external vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships and provide usage guidance for shared services.
• Serve as first point of contact for cross-brand media needs and archive/retrieval requests.
• Maintain and audit reference data supporting media operations.
• Manage a team of media coordinators, including scheduling and training.
