Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance Team, while mentoring contract and junior technicians.

You will also train staff, oversee preventive maintenance procedures, and drive safe, efficient operations across the facility, collaborating with teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
• Experience leading, training, and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with ability to create/manage documents.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems; install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic and control components.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance, mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
