Job summary

JLL in Humble, TX is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment within the Operations Maintenance team.

You will design solutions for difficult problems, mentor technicians and manage projects, while promoting safe work practices and preventive maintenance. This role requires hands-on expertise and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years of work order management.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Leadership or vendor management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Travel up to 20% at a minimum.
