Job summary

JLL is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration within the Operations team, with potential travel up to 20% and shifts up to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Flexible schedules/shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE and related equipment.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, with/without accommodations.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
