Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Associates or higher in Mechanical or Electrical field (preferred).
• 2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; may require accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
