Job summary

JLL in the United States (Nampa, ID) is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. The role requires hands-on skills with conveyors, control components, blueprints, and CMMS systems; travel up to 20% is expected, and lifting up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of preventive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of work order management and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians on the team in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support Operations Maintenance by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor service and contract technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Maintain conveyors and related control components; ensure safety procedures are followed.
