Job summary

JLL is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment at our Boise site.

You will design solutions, mentor technicians, and support the Operations Maintenance team on complex projects while promoting safety and reliability. The role requires hands-on work with conveyors, controls, and robotics, with travel up to 20% and the ability to stand/walk for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience conducting preventive maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years of work order management.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians on installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects for Operations Maintenance.
• Train and mentor service and contract technicians.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and associated control components.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, maintenance, and parts.
• Develop training plans for technicians and emergency repair work plans.
