Job summary

JLL in Tyler, TX is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team and mentor staff while designing solutions for complex problems.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, conveyor systems experience, and the ability to travel up to 20%. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within JLL.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
3+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
2+ years of work order management.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems in the building.
Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and sensors.
Create and close out work orders with labor hours and parts used.
Develop training plans for service technicians.
Travel up to 20%.
