Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Salinas, CA is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will design solutions, manage projects, train and mentor technicians, and help ensure safe, reliable operation of conveyors and control systems.

This role requires strong PLC, CMMS, blueprints reading, and team leadership skills to drive maintenance excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and automated conveyors.
• 4+ years experience conducting preventive maintenance.
• 4+ years experience reading blueprints/schematics.
• 3+ years experience with a CMMS.
• 2+ years experience with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and related devices.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
