Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support Prime Air drone hardware and test systems. You will mature designs, increase engineering rigor, deploy new test systems, and collaborate with internal and external teams to support fabrication.

Qualifications

• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and layout contributing to system architecture with cross-disciplinary inputs.
• Create detailed 3D CAD assemblies and 2D drawings as deliverables.
• Perform static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis as needed.
• Deliver efficient designs for high-volume production (DFM, DFA).
• Document and present materials for design reviews.
• Design and support test campaigns for drone hardware.
