Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Staff Engineer, Mechatronics Design, to lead multidisciplinary design efforts for semiconductor capital equipment and automation. This role offers remote work within the US and requires travel for on-site reviews and deployments.

You will act as a global SME, bridging customers and engineering teams, and own design integrity from concept through production while ensuring regulatory compliance and high reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• Experience with mechatronics and capital equipment.
• Strong CAD and simulation experience with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of complex mechatronic systems across mechanical, electronics and software.
• Define engineering SOWs and transition prototypes to production.
• Perform rigorous calculations and simulations for validation.
• Ensure designs comply with UL, CE, ISO standards.
