Blue Origin’s Honeybee Robotics Colorado location seeks a technically brilliant engineer to design, verify, and integrate motion control hardware for aerospace applications. You will work with motors, sensors, and drive electronics, collaborating across engineering teams to ensure robust performance for spaceflight systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• In-depth understanding of motors, gearing, feedback & commutation sensors, and motion control methodologies.
• Experience delivering functional hardware on schedule.
• Preferred: Mechatronics engineering degree; space-environment hardware design experience; leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect closed-loop control systems incorporating motors, sensors, structures and drive electronics.
• Synthesize and define interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines.
• Present technical content to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support on test requirements and associated verification methods.
