Job summary
Blue Origin Honeybee Robotics Colorado seeks a senior engineer to design and verify motion control hardware for spaceflight applications. You will architect closed-loop systems, integrate motors, sensors and electronics, and work with cross-disciplinary teams to meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
Responsibilities include leading design analyses, simulations (Matlab/Simulink), and guiding test verification efforts for flight articles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in electronics for regulated industries
- In-depth understanding of motors, gearing, feedback & commutation sensors, and motion control methodologies
- Demonstrated experience delivering functional hardware on schedule
- Experience with design analysis and simulation (Matlab/Simulink)
Responsibilities
- Architect closed-loop control systems incorporating motors, sensors, structures and drive electronics
- Synthesize interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines
- Present technical content to customers and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance on test requirements and verification methods
