Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Turnaround Planner to support site turnarounds in Memphis. You will prepare job plans, attach documentation, and validate plans as part of the validation team.

Key duties include coordinating with foremen, collecting status updates, attending SCR meetings, managing material availability, and ensuring smooth handoffs to QA/QC and Operations, with closeout of all job packs.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating in industrial environments.
• Industrial experience in project controls and scheduling is essential.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities; ability to coach teammates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job plans for all work in assigned area using JMS, materials requests and contractor instructions.
• Attach all relevant documentation to the plan (drawings, photos, test procedures, cleaning procedures).
• Validate job plans as part of the validation team.
• Prepare workbooks for supervisors with all necessary paperwork.
• Assist foremen with work familiarization.
• Collect status updates and report at daily schedule updates.
• Attend SCR meetings to understand new work and pass SCR to scheduler.
• Ensure SCR work is planned and handed to scheduler; monitor material availability.
• Update PlanIT with changes for future reuse.
• Ensure seamless handoff from trades to QA/QC and Operations.
• Close out all job packs.
