  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor/Master preferred.
  • AACE International or PMI certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial planning, scheduling, cost control, and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Overhaul: prepare plans, attach drawings, photos, test procedures, and cleaning procedures; validate plans; prepare supervisor workbooks; coordinate with foremen.
  • During Execution: collect status updates; attend SCR meetings; ensure SCR work is planned and handed to scheduler; monitor material availability; update PlanIT for reuse; ensure handoffs between trades, QA/QC and Operations; close out all job packs.

## Mechanical Turnaround PlannerApply: Memphis, TN: Full time: Posted Today: 2026-001223# What You'll Be Doing **Job Scope:** Support site turnarounds as a Mechanical focused Turnaround Planner. **Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:*** Pre-Overhaul: + Prepare job plans for all work in assigned area using, JMS, materials request, contractor instructions. + Attach all relevant documentation to the plan, including: - Drawings - Photos - Test procedures - Cleaning procedures + Validate job plans as part of the validation team. + Prepare workbooks for all supervisors in assigned area with copies of all paperwork needed. + Work with all foremen to assist work familiarization.* During Execution: + Collect status updates for all jobs in assigned areas and provide updates at the daily schedule update meeting. + Attend daily SCR meeting to understand new work for their area. + Ensure that SCR work is planned and passed to scheduler for adding to the schedule. + Monitor SCR material availability to allow management of SCR work. + Work with foremen to identify changes needed on regular job plans and make the changes in PlanIT for future re-use. + Ensure seamless handoff of work from trades to QA/QC and then to Operations. + Ensure all job packs are properly closed out. # Ideal Background **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is highly preferred.**Certification:** AACE International or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.**Experience:** This position requires 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*** Knowledge and application of company business standards and good practices.* Extreme attention to detail.* Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the function of all engineering disciplines.* Understanding of existing and potential customer deliverable expectations and preferences.* Ability to set priorities.* Ability to effectively discuss and correspond with engineering disciplines and/or contractors to ascertain and understand pertinent information concerning schedules, scopes of work, estimates and/or project costs.* Coaching and mentoring skills and experience.* Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.* Excellent presentation skills.* Excellent organizational skills.* Knowledge of other disciplines deliverable development to ensure coordination of efforts.* Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all project controls deliverables.* Experienced in scheduling professional service hours and assessing the progress and quality of project controls work.
