ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an Experienced Mechanical Planner/Execution professional to develop detailed job plans for refinery maintenance and turnaround work. You’ll coordinate with operations, engineering and contractors to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability in a heavy industrial setting.

The role emphasizes reading P&IDs and isometrics, creating comprehensive work packages, BOMs, and safe procedures, while leveraging SAP/Maximo for tracking and reporting.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years mechanical planning in refinery, petrochemical plant, or heavy industrial facility.
• 5+ years experience with static and rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs, isometrics, mechanical drawings, and equipment datasheets.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Primavera, estimating software and systems.
• Microsoft Office, Primavera, and other planning and execution systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in construction, maintenance, operations, and repairs of facilities and equipment.
• Read and interpret plans, orthographic and isometric drawings.
• Develop detailed job plans for routine, corrective, and turnaround maintenance.
• Create work packages with scope, steps, safety procedures, permits, tools, labor, and duration.
• Define BOMs and ensure timely availability of parts and consumables.
• Ensure work complies with API, ASME, OSHA standards.
• Contribute to outage/turnaround planning with long-lead equipment lists and scaffolding needs.
• Use SAP and Maximo to enter and track work orders, steps, materials, and manhours.
• Maintain equipment history and documentation for reliability tracking.
• Coordinate shutdowns, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
