Job summary

Exxon Mobil Corporation is seeking Experienced Mechanical Planner / Execution professionals to develop detailed job plans and coordinate maintenance activities in refinery or industrial settings. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and contractors to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include creating work packages, interpreting P&IDs, BOMs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while using SAP/Maximo for tracking and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years mechanical planning experience in refinery, petrochemical plant, or heavy industrial facility.
• 5+ years experience with static and rotating equipment: vessels, piping, rotating equipment, exchangers, etc.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs, isometrics, mechanical blueprints, and equipment datasheets.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Primavera, estimating software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed job plans for routine, corrective, and turnaround maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Create work packages with scope, steps, safety procedures, permits, tools, labor, and duration.
• Interpret drawings and vendor manuals to define accurate scopes and steps.
• Define BOMs and ensure timely availability of parts and consumables.
• Use SAP/Maximo to enter and track work orders, steps, materials, and manhours.
