Job summary

Exxon Mobil in Baton Rouge is seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Advisor to improve asset availability and cost efficiency across refinery operations. You will lead maintenance planning, coordinate turnarounds, and drive reliability initiatives in collaboration with engineering and technical centers.

The role emphasizes long-term asset strategies, risk assessment, and cost-conscious maintenance execution within a major petrochemical complex.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in oil and gas / petrochemical industry
• Experience applying reliability systems and achieving cost objectives
• Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Technical Centers

Responsibilities

• Drives longer-term equipment availability and cost management through development of the annual Maintenance plan and Turnaround / shutdown worklists for the asset
• Delivers longer-term unit reliability and cost objectives by driving bad actor / vulnerability resolution, Equipment Strategies, long range plan and reliability improvements
• Acts as reliability conscience for their Asset / Business team to ensure decisions align with long-term reliability and cost objectives
• Supports short-term equipment availability and cost management through coaching other team members on risk screening, financial risk management and budget analysis
• Interfaces with Engineering, Maintenance and Technical Centers to provide asset team support
