Job summary

Roquette in Plaquemine, LA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to plan and execute daily maintenance and TAR planning, partnering with site leadership and contractors to ensure reliability.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, 10+ years in maintenance, SAP and planning experience, and the ability to coach craftsmen while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-year Mechanical Technology certificate OR 2+ years progressive maintenance experience.
• Minimum 10 years in the Maintenance industry.
• Minimum 2 years SAP experience and 2 years planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Maintenance strategy and its impact on production.
• Coordinate with Maintenance team to ensure proper execution of maintenance processes.
• Control maintenance budget by escalating high-cost work and tracking planned spend.
• Verify equipment readiness and ensure work is properly permitted and authorized.
• Plan Turnaround work and coordinate with Leadership/Operations/Maintenance.
• Coordinate Emergency Work (PM15) and align with Production.
• Review weekly schedule and participate in scheduling meetings.
• Verify Technicians are on schedule and maintain schedule compliance.
• Coach junior craftsmen in mechanical or I&E areas.
• Support staffing with progress monitoring and safe, efficient work.
• Drive execution to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Ensure documentation for completed work and TECOs are filed.
• Support Reliability Maintenance Process integration.
