Job summary

Festo USA is seeking a test-focused engineer to ensure reliability and performance of electric actuators through comprehensive testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will define test strategies, execute detailed test plans, and analyze results to support product development from prototype to production while adhering to relevant standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years setting up complex test systems, manual and automated.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical drive technology and mechatronic testing.
  • Experience with test and measurement technology, especially automated systems.
  • Environmental testing experience; food industry standards is a plus.
  • Basic programming knowledge for test automation is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and communication; English fluency; German knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to spend several weeks in Germany during onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Define test strategy, test plans, schedules, and technical details with the test team.
  • Qualify electric actuators in collaboration with HQ in Germany.
  • Provide testing support to design from prototype to production.
  • Create, execute, and document test plans per standards.
