Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with trade-school training or 3+ years related experience, plus knowledge of cylinders, valves, and measuring tools. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus trade school, or 3+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of cylinders, drives, service units and valves.
• Prior assembly experience.
• Knowledge of basic assembly practices and safety standards.
• Ability to use computer and spreadsheet software.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine repair status of returned material per policies and procedures.
• Read/interpret drawings or data to assemble/repair per specs.
• Disassemble/reassemble product using hand tools.
• Use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.).
• Review order specs and repair specifications.
• Examine form, fit and function against specifications.
• Functionally test repaired material for proper operation.
• Identify product and status with tags; report issues to management.
• Follow 6S system daily.
• Travel up to 20% as required; perform other duties as assigned.
