Sr. Electromechanical & Pneumatic Test Engineer

• Contract

Actuation Engineering has the technical responsibility for Electromechanical and Pneumatic Actuators within MCOE Fuel, Actuation, Wheels & Brakes.

Engineer needs to have experience in driving test programs, coordinating test setups with laboratory engineering and technicians, interpreting data, and writing reports for aerospace products. Preferred knowledge of DO-160 Environmental Test requirements

Responsible for driving hardware and test process throughout the qualification of electromechanical actuators. Having proven technical capability in actuation (above and beyond having a degree). Supports IDPS team members in establishing program plans with respect to cost and schedule. Coordinates qualification test objectives to include the final preparation of test units and the conduct of tests.

Coordinates activities to reduce test data, writes test reports and prepares recommendations related to the test objectives. Supports Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities associated with qualification test problems. Responsible, along with other IPDS team members, for management and accurate and timely reporting of program budget, schedule, and technical problems.
