Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. in Englewood, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer Mechanical for Motion Solutions to lead moderately to complex mechanical design, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and documentation.

You will manage projects from concept through handoff, review specs and drawings, create 3D models, BOMs, and test records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver reliable engineered solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in mechanical engineering, system design, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, industrial equipment, or related technical environment.
Experience developing mechanical designs, drawings, 3D models, bills of material, calculations, test documentation, and related project records.
Experience supporting design, build, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and production handoff for engineered systems or industrial equipment.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and related electrical components used in motion control, fluid power, automation, or industrial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned engineering projects through design, build, testing, commissioning, and production handoff.
Review customer specifications, drawings, purchase orders, RFQs, and sales information to define project scope and requirements.
Develop mechanical designs for Motion Solutions systems, including assemblies, fabricated structures, hydraulic power units, pneumatic systems, and related components.
Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations to support design decisions, component selection, safety, performance, and manufacturability.
Create and maintain drawings, schematics, 3D models, layouts, bills of material, test documentation, manuals, and related project records.
Coordinate with engineering, production, sales, project management, vendors, and customers to resolve technical questions and support project execution.
