Job summary

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnering with a leading fluid power organization to hire a Motion Systems Engineer. You will design and document system solutions, create BOMs, develop hydraulic/electrical schematics and 3D layouts, and evaluate customer specs to ensure performance and quality.

You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, follow workflows, assist with startup, and drive continuous improvement across engineered systems.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and creating circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within established workflows and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to expand expertise across hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of manufacturing environments and current industry trends.
• General knowledge of machine control systems and PLC interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for engineered systems.
• Develop hydraulic and/or electrical schematics.
• Design 3D layouts and detailed drawings for engineered systems.
• Evaluate customer specifications to ensure system performance meets expectations.
• Follow internal workflows and processes to ensure product quality.
• Assist with system startup and implementation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product development efforts.
