Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, South Carolina, seeks a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join the ECS Engineering team. You will support cabin air conditioning, liquid cooling, air distribution, and other environmental control systems, interfacing with suppliers and Boeing groups to develop, test, and implement design improvements.

Responsibilities include leading system safety analyses, maintaining documentation like FHAs, FMEAs, and FTAs, and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years' of experience with Mechanical Systems.
3+ years' of professional experience in an engineering field.
3+ years' of experience working with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~10%.

Responsibilities

Supports system requirements traceability and development assurance, and creates documentation for downstream groups.
Modernizes analytical models and supports planning efforts and technical meetings.
Performs analyses to verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Leads development and integration of analysis tools and modeling.
Supports supplier development, test, and production activities to optimize integration.
Trains others and works under general to minimal direction.
