Job summary

E-Space in Arlington, TX is searching for a Senior Mechanical Systems Designer to lead the mechanical design of automated production systems. Your role will involve creating the fixtures, frames, and assemblies using SolidWorks to ensure high precision in manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience, including knowledge of GD&T and be capable of collaborating within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. E-Space offers a committed team atmosphere and numerous development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in machinery, automation, or aerospace hardware.
• Experience taking designs through fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Ability to work across disciplines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and subsystems for automated manufacturing equipment in SolidWorks.
• Develop fixtures, frames, and machine structures to meet performance and cost targets.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate automation hardware.
• Create build documentation and support fabrication and testing.
