Job summary

The Boeing Company in the St. Louis region is seeking Experienced or Senior Mechanical System Design Engineers to develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems using 3-D CAD tools.

This role supports current and emerging aircraft programs within Boeing Defense Space and Security. Responsibilities include designing subsystems, validating performance with analyses and tests, and coordinating with suppliers to meet program goals while pursuing innovative technology for future aircraft

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Level 3 requires 5+ years of related work experience.
• Level 4 requires 9+ years of related work experience.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document air vehicle subsystems requirements to establish the system design.
• Lead and document subsystem designs using 3-D CAD to define products for teams and suppliers.
• Validate systems and components with analysis and test results.
• Manage supplier development and coordinate with suppliers to meet program goals.
• Advise on emerging technologies for future product designs.
