Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Mechanical Supervisor II to lead installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery across conveyors and high-speed sorters. You will supervise a team of up to 200 workers and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires 5–7 years of mechanical installation experience, OSHA 10+, blueprints/technical manual literacy, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must have 5–7 years of experience in mechanical installations.
• Must meet physical demands as described.
• Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
• OSHA 10 or above certification.
• Technical education required.
• Must read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineer specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises fitting bearings, aligning gears and wheels, attaching motors and connecting belts per drawings.
• Oversees dismantling of machinery using hand tools.
• Supervises unloading, inspecting, moving and positioning equipment with cranes, hoists, dollies and rollers.
• Manages rigging and hoisting devices to move equipment and materials.
• Supervises up to 200 workers on site.
• Supports inventory control and reporting via digital systems.
