Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor II to oversee installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of complex machinery in a field setting. You will supervise bearing fitting, gear alignment, motor attachment, and rigging activities.

The role requires 5–7 years of mechanical installation experience, blueprint reading, OSHA 10, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel up to 100% and long work hours may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical installations.
• Able to meet physical demands.
• Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
• OSHA 10 or above.
• Former/technical education required.
• Reliable transportation; able to work 7 days as needed.
• Able to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineer specifications.
• Able to obtain mandatory local badging.
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise installation and maintenance of high-precision machinery.
• Supervise bearing fitting, gear alignment, motor attachment per drawings.
• Oversee dismantling with hand tools.
• Oversee equipment movement with cranes, hoists, rollers.
• Supervise rigging and hoisting devices to move equipment.
• Supervise up to 200 workers.
• Support inventory control with digital logging.
