Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a General Superintendent - Mechanical to lead on-site construction efforts, ensuring adherence to contract documents, codes, and project schedules. The role requires coordinating with Project Managers, managing field teams, and sustaining strong client and subcontractor relations.

Candidates should have at least 5 years as a Lead Superintendent, strong technical and communication skills, and BIM and safety experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing site logistics and contract operations on urban sites.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Project.
• Experience in all divisions of construction: methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
• Strong technical and communication skills are critical.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent.
• Understanding of and ability to maintain project documents, blueprints, revisions, specs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with BIM-coordinated installations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction per contract documents and codes.
• Document delays, shutdowns, and tie-ins with PM.
• Lead and resolve on-site disputes; inspire team.
• Maintain relationships with customers, subs, vendors.
• Ensure quality control for MSS scope and schedule.
• Attend inspections and report project progress weekly.
• Coordinate safety with safety manager.
• Interview and select field staff.
• Attend project meetings.
