Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. seeks an ASU Mechanical Reliability Trainer to develop, execute, and manage comprehensive mechanical training programs for technicians across the Bulk Operations organization.

This role maintains structured progression and acts as the subject matter expert for mechanical condition monitoring. You will design curricula for rotating equipment, compressors, pumps, cryogenic machinery, and NSM systems, while delivering classroom, hands-on, and field-based training and

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance in heavy industrial or rotating equipment environments.
• 7+ years of experience with mechanical condition monitoring programs (vibration, thermography, lubrication, alignment/balancing).
• 5+ years developing or delivering technical training.
• 5+ years supporting condition monitoring programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver mechanical training curricula covering rotating and static equipment, compressors, pumps, cryogenic machinery, and NSM systems.
• Conduct classroom, hands-on, and field-based training for mechanical and performance technicians.
• Create training materials, assessments, certifications, and competency evaluations.
• Maintain progression schedules and track training milestones and competency achievements.
• Collaborate with operations and reliability leadership to align progression with business needs.
• Serve as subject matter expert for mechanical condition monitoring programs and improve standards and procedures.
