Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson in the United States seeks an experienced maintenance technician to keep production equipment in safe, optimal condition while monitoring plant operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and supporting changeovers to ensure continuous, efficient production.

You will work from blueprints or vendor specs, perform adjustments, assist with testing and validation of new equipment, and uphold Process Safety Management standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience within manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics and electrical systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting PLCs is preferred.
• Robotics experience is a plus; ammonia refrigeration systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs from manuals or vendor specs.
• Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new equipment.
• Support equipment changeovers and training of employees.
• Maintain and follow Process Safety Management procedures.
• Notify management of equipment issues and abnormalities.
• Assist coworkers with production tasks as needed.
