Job summary

Decima International seeks an experienced Mechanical QA Manager to lead quality management for multi‑site data center projects. The role requires strong client-facing skills, rigorous QA/QC oversight, and coordination with design teams, GCs, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop and implement QMS, audit plans, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with codes and client standards while driving continuous improvement and documentation control across projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction and quality management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with field engineering, inspection, and NDE for QA/QC functions.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, drawings, and contracts for MEP projects.
• Ability to manage non-conformance, defects, and reporting programs with root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project scope and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, codes, safety regs, and environmental guidelines.
• Review and verify submittals and material compliance.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, logs, and other project documents.
• Coordinate with GC and subcontractors to close out items.
• Lead internal quality audits and site inspections.
• Oversee QA/QC activities and commissioning processes.
• Prepare progress reports and management presentations.
