Interstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing and HVAC projects in our Facility Services/Small Projects division from planning through successful completion.

The role focuses on operational and financial performance, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, billing, change management, and field coordination, with emphasis on delivering profitable, high-quality projects and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within commercial mechanical trades (HVAC/plumbing).
• Experience managing projects from planning through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building codes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple mechanical projects concurrently.
• Track submittals, schedules of values, RFIs, and change orders.
• Develop scopes of work and manage subcontractor purchase orders.
• Coordinate scheduling, engineering, materials, and field requirements.
• Ensure projects meet design, budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Maintain relationships with customers, general contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly projections and billings.
• Identify risks and resolve issues impacting schedule or budget.
