Stratus is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Mechanical in New York to lead a small engineering design team. You will oversee investigations, analyses, and design for mechanical/HVAC systems on multifamily and mixed-use projects, ensuring constructability and code compliance.

The role requires a decade of experience, strong client communication, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered by Stratus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience designing mechanical and HVAC systems across various project types.
• Experience working within New York City and Tri-State regulatory environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD; familiarity with load/energy modeling and distribution calculations.

Mansioni

• Manage mechanical and HVAC design service opportunities from proposal to client acceptance, including invoicing.
• Review site investigations and ensure reports are clear and client-friendly.
• Lead mechanical engineering design across multifamily, commercial, industrial, and retail projects.
• Supervise staff designers and engineers in creating schematic and construction designs.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure adherence to contract documents and prepare summary documents.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and agencies.
• Maintain schedules and budgets, allocate resources, and assist with invoicing.
• Mentor junior staff with technical guidance and processes.
