Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead multiple, moderately complex projects related to hand tool products. You will guide local and global teams, review designs, and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

Candidates should have 7+ years in engineering, a BS in Engineering, and a track record of delivering mass-produced products. International travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering experience in related field.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Proven success in past work designing mass-produced products.
• Experience managing multiple complex new product development projects.
• Strong grasp of materials and manufacturing processes used in hand tool products.
• Solid understanding of part costing methodology.
• Knowledge of engineering specifications and roles of Suppliers, Quality, and Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership over multiple moderately complex projects with a focus on mechanics hand tools.
• Gives direction and engineering expertise to local and global team members.
• Reviews work of designers and engineers and sets team goals.
• Develops and maintains schedules and documents project meetings.
• Tracks project schedules and presents status to executives.
• Ensures projects complete within budget and timelines.
• Coordinates planning for low to moderate complexity projects.
• Identifies critical path tasks and project risks with supervision.
• Drives communication across cross-functional international teams.
