Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Executive to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects in the Bay Area. The role coordinates Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service, while engaging with clients and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial mechanical project management and related fields.
• Proven success in HVAC/plumbing construction projects from $50k to $25+ million.
• Strong business development experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management; MBA or PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single source of responsibility for projects to clients and company.
• Coordinate staff from Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service.
• Manage project teams through the full project life cycle.
• Lead sales activities: estimating, design, proposals, and negotiations.
• Prepare budgets and control costs within limits.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain client/vendor relationships.
• Provide leadership for departmental coordination during construction.
• Prepare letters, proposals, change orders, and strategies.
• Demonstrate flexibility by handling projects in varying locations.
