Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer for the Nuclear Services Group to drive mechanical projects, develop winning proposals, and manage schedules and budgets. You will oversee project execution, build client relationships, and support marketing efforts to grow the business across multiple U.S.

locations, including Birmingham, AL and other offices. The role demands 6 years in nuclear or related industries, a Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering degree (or PMP with 10 years) and

Qualifications

• Design engineering experience with modification and implementation in power facilities.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand and work with budgets and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and act as a technical leader to meet solution and quality goals.
• Manage client interactions and negotiate scope to client and company satisfaction; maintain client relations.
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects within schedule and budget; monitor financials and prepare detailed reports.
• Develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals and support marketing efforts to identify new opportunities.
