Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Boston, MA to design complex mechanical systems and lead project execution from concept through construction. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, proactive problem solving, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in design of mission critical, commercial, government, academic, R&D, industrial or similar projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, Carrier HAP; CFD knowledge in Cadence Reality DC (6Sigma) preferred.
• EIT and PE licensure are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Oversee designs through project construction and completion.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines to ensure a high quality design.
• Mentor and lead design engineers and represent the project team in client communications.
