Job summary

CMTA, formerly AMA Group, a Legence company, seeks a Senior Project Engineer, Mechanical, to design mechanical systems and lead projects from start to finish, interfacing with clients, contractors, architects, and the project team. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5–9 years of mechanical design experience, AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency, and knowledge of building codes.

PE is highly preferred. Salary range $85,000–$110,000 with a performance-based bonus possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering required; PE highly preferred.
• 5–9 years of mechanical design experience.
• AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of mechanical systems for a range of projects, from small to large.
• Interact with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams to ensure delivery.
• Select equipment and perform design load calculations.
• Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and energy standards.
• Support basis-of-design documentation and client responses.
