Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 10–15 years of licensed engineer experience.
• Engineer of Record in several states, with ability to coordinate across disciplines.
• Strong collaboration with project architects, managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering projects including Construction Documents, coordination with other disciplines, permitting, bidding and construction administration.
• Ensure high quality assurance on documents, RFIs, specs.
• Serve as main point of contact for a project or series of projects with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate with architectural/engineering disciplines and oversee design/document production.
• Mentor and train engineering designers to produce quality construction documents within budget.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and owner revisions; participate in public meetings as needed.
