Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Mechanical Product Engineer III to drive product development from concept through manufacturing, lead design improvements, run tests, and manage projects with cross-functional teams.

Based at the Advanced Development & Engineering Center in New Freedom, PA, relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. This role offers a salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 plus a bonus plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
3+ years of related experience.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
Able to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Drive product development from concept through manufacturing.
Lead design improvements and engineering changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and manufacturing.
Prepare technical documentation and test programs.
Apply mechanical codes such as UL, CE, PED, ASHRAE, and ASME.
Contribute to continuous improvement in a global product development environment.
